- This is an international competition.
- You must be over the age of 10 to enter.
- Your piece(s) should relate to or address our themes of conflict & integration to be considered for the winning spot.
- To enter you will be asked for: A short artist statement, optional CV/exhibition history, and details of your artwork(s) including title, dimensions, medium, description and images. You will be asked for payment at the end of the process.
- Your artist statement can be anything. You can write about yourself, your work, or even what you love about art. You can write about Brixton, about what makes it special, or how the words conflict & integration make you feel in relation to wherever you are in the world. We are leaving it up to you and giving an option to express whatever you want in relation to your submission. There is no minimum, but a maximum of 300 words.
- All works submitted must be available for the entire exhibition period: Wednesday 29th June until Sunday 3rd July 2022.
- If selected, images of your artwork may be used for press and marketing purposes, and visitors to the exhibition will have permission to include the work(s) in their photographs.
- If exhibited, your work will be up for sale (with your consent). 40% commission will be payable to Brixton Art Prize.
- Transport and installation details will be confirmed with exhibiting artists.
